Hi guys.
I just though I should register here and let you know that I am having problems with Renguard on my system.
Without Renguard installed, Renegade runs perfectly fine. But when Renguard is installed, after a certain amount of time in the game (usually not very long) Renegade will freeze and then CTD. In addition to this any further attempts to launch Renegade results in a game.exe error box being displayed.
I have run Dxdiag before and after the crash, and it seems to me that Direct 3D has been crashed, as all of the Direct 3D tests fail after the crash. (Direct X 9.0c)
My specs are:
AMD 64 3400 MHZ
512MB RAM
Nvidia GeForce FX 5600 (latest driver version 6.14)
Soundblaster Audigy 2
Now I have used Renguard before without any problems but that was a fair few months back, so I am unsure of what is causing this problem.
Any ideas? Cos I am at a loss and I want to get back online with Renegade.

Ok guys my system had some very strange things happen to it forcing me to reinstall the netweork driver and a couple of other things...
At any rate I have reinstalled Renguard and manually downloaded the core patch (instead of auto-updating) and now Renegade seems to be working for now.
I'll give it a bash online and see how it goes.
By the way what happened to all the UK Renegade servers on gamespy??
