Recruit

I have seen this twice now.
Lets say the ID in question is "ICheat"
As I recall, at first I see ICheat on player list. then I see him in game, he is NOD but his name is yellow like GDI. So I message him. He cracks wise. I try to kick him. No can do. then suddenly on our 24 player server, it shows 25 players. Count up players, 24. Some people can see ICheat on their playerlist, some cant. We CAN see the little bastard in game tho. <sigh> The people that see him in their playerlist have him as a 0 score.

I am pretty certain that I have some of the details wrong. Its pretty twisted.

So my questions:
has anyone else seen this?
whats happening?
how do we get rid of him? please dont say run renguard pure. We do on one server, but not the others. The real question is, how do we kick/ban him? recall that if you try to kick him, he disappears from your player list. Oh, you cant see him on irc either. Sad

1)ive seen the yellow name on nod thing before.. i assumed it was a bug..
didnt notice is he was on the player list or not.. or if any one else saw it

2)one game sum one came in using wallhack and final ren..
and the host couldnt kick him either..
i watched all the attempts.. we thought it was a spelling thing in hisname.. the name was wallhax..
but we thought his name might be wailhax.. or walihax.. just with cap I's..
it wasnt.. host COULD NOT kick this guy..
20 sum mins of that went on lol

the instance w1ley is talking about is a WOL bug which has absolutely no effect on gameplay

the instance GetSm0ked is just some retard taking advantage of the fact capital I's look like lower case L's on renegade. best way to stop this faggotry is renrem

it was a client bug.. somebody left on the map change and your computer never picked it up
you will see him running about the server and speaking but if you look in an IRC channel.. if you have an IRC bot reporting its actually somebody else speaking

best thing you can do it leave and rejoin(i think) never bothered me that much

Yeah, I was playing in a WOL server the other day & someone questioned whether I was "cheating" because of the same thing w/ my name...funny thing was that everything appeared normal from my end.
