Verizon sucks. They said my new connection (3mbps/768kbps) would be activated yesterday at 6 pm. So what did I do? I installed my new pwnage modem today. The speed hasn't changed at all. It's still 380 kbps...OMFG!

Wireless networks have nothing to do with the ISP. My connection comes from Comcast, through miles of cables, into my house, then in a gay ass wireless router that sends to my computer. I need to hardwire, but this house is two story and it would be really hard.

Dude, that is 3 megabit. I'm on an uncapped Charter cable who's max rated is 3megabit, i top out at around that depending on the server. And that is a whole hell of a lot faster than this damn 56k modem at my folks. So don't whine.
There was a time when people were impressed that I have the firepower to decimate a planet in under 10 minutes.
