Does anyone know a good avi to dvd format converter because i want to burn some of this anime i downloaded that is all like subtitled to a dvd disk i can burn. :



AVI (convert to) DVD format (burn to) DVD Disk with what was on the avi with not any noticible quality changes.

You need to convert it to mpeg, I think.

you want to make a disc that can be played in a DVD player right? I've been doing a little research in how to make Video CDs. The principles are the same, the only difference is the capacity of the media.

You probably want to look at http://www.doom9.org/. Note: at this point I need to emphasize that this information be used for legitimate backup of media that you own only.

VCD (Video CD) can be made with Nero...

Just beware that the more videos you put on it, the less quality they'll have on playback.

VCD also supports on-screen menus and selection.

you dont need to convert avi if ur using Sonic Dvd but i am not too sure for nero. If you want to convert type in WinAvi in google and that will give you a good software!

Actually, out of all my friends dvd players and mine only 2 of 10 are. Also in flyers not many other either. Most people have no use for it

which ever burning software your using..

when you brwose for the file u want to burn.. it will say which file formats u will need to convert it too..

nero needs bup - vob - ifo formats

my one stop shop for apps is
http://www.download.com

just search for convert avi to (w/e file format u need)

and i THINK.. thats all there is to it.. lol
ofcourse u my need to convert it once from avi to sumthing else..
then to another format thats burnable

I never needed anything for Nero, except a disk and things to burn onto that disk.
