cant leave renegade with CP1. [message #132084]

Recruit

my computer gets stuck at the part that asks if i would like to return to desk top. i click yes and the screen freezes. this only starts to happen after i install the CP1. when i've got the mulity player update and rengaurd installed, it works just fine. i can sometimes get out by doing the Ctrl+Alt+del process but it rarley works that way. most of the time i have to unplug or put my computer into hybernation to leave that screen. does anyone have a clue of what could be up? also, i've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times now to try and fix it.

Try going into your registry and set the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Westwood\Renegade\Options\SkipQuitConfirmDialog to 1

i think you will find this is a SP2 problem
when ingame hit F8 and type quit

like an idiot Smile

i always forget this and end up going crazy trying to close renegade
sometimes im lucky and i click the button to close the error Smile

Yeah thats more or less definately a SP2 error most people got that after installing SP2, i do and it really annoys me so i quit ren by exiting renguard as its the quickest way i find Smile
