I am having a giant problem with this guy crashing my server, it is running BRenbot 1.40 with CP1 on win32. It's an old bug that crashs the FDS when a player joins with more than 22 characters in name and the auto kick causes the crash. I thought was fixed for BR 1.4. I have tried to run patch 0001 to fix this, but he is still doing it.

I am also getting threats like this
Any help from BHS would be giantly appreciated. Also any server owners want to add this guy to your banlist please do so to help me teach him a lesson.

The long name exploit has been never addressed. Other explotits have been fixed in SSCP1 though.
I banned the user connected to that IP from RenGuard.
Anyone crashing servers is going to be banned from RenGuard. Contact me directly for more details.
I don't allow server crashers on RenGuard, and this seems a reasonable method of punishing them.

Although this is a great punishment, this will not help my situation, I run my server in partial renguard mode. He only needs to connect to the servers for a couple of seconds and his work is done, RG takes 10 seconds to kick non-users. He has now threatened =EA= clan that if they ban him he will do the same thing to them. Is there a more substantial fix for this, can you remove the long name kick or fix the bug?? I am only getting attacked with a full server, and it's not me he is hurting, I do this for fun, it's the server full of people who get pissed. And yet more and more reasons for people to leave this game. That's why I am pissed about this guy.

hello peepz,
2 of my clanm8s seem to have some problems with gde clan , they were banned for nothing cause they don't cheat and don't steal vehicles.

sorry for whats happened, i was angry cos i got banned for '109', sorry that i threatened u and that i crashed ur server, it will honestly never happen again, i regret doing itand so does dandan, i sincerely hope i will be forgiven for doing this, i didn't mean to cause so much harm, i was just angry, we've all been angry and done things we regret, this is one of those things,

I believe the member banned in question (GothMog, I believe) was banned because of his clan members crashing our server with the long name (in your case, yen) glitch.
Maybe, you all will be unbanned after all is said done.
