Every time I try to install the core patch, i get this message:

http://www.n00bstories.com/image.fetch.php?id=1310432248

Even though it says download complete right afterwards, it tries to re-download every time i get on renguard

Also, whenever i get onto renegade, with or without RG, it says a new patch is available....it downloads the same patch over and over but nothing happens.

Did you update to 1.037 before applying RenGuard and CP1?

It seems your city flying is missing! You need that file to complete the patch. Each time such an error occurs, it will not finish

If you have 1037 download the file manually here

Apparently, there was something wrong with the patch when i downloaded it (renegade, not CP1) so I have to reinstall Renegade..once that is done and i patch it fully we will see if it works.

EDIT 2: well, i reinstalled everything except for CP1
I am getting an error saying "verify of new file failed. possible internal error" right at the end of MutationRedux

It looks like some internal error. Not sure.
Can you try again?

I had tried it many times and always got the same thing.

I just retried installing it and this time the installation program froze up right after patchall.zip.
I even redownloaded the installation and the same thing happened.

EDIT: Never mind about the freezing, if I delete the patchall.zip that it installed previous times it is fine. However I am still getting the "verify of new file failed" error.

It's an error from the patch engine.

What I would suggest to try the standalone installer available from our websites - maybe this helps!
