This is the Imperial Storm trooper for our mod, replacing an older, much worse model made back in the day by Typhoon. This is the basic footsoldier of the Imperial Navy. He comes armed with an E-11 blaster and light body armor. Imperial players will spawn as this character.

Looks good, but could you change the background color so that we can see the black parts better? =/

That is quite awesome. I must say it is a definite improvement over the previous version.

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)

"The danger to political dissent is acute where the Government attempts to act under so vague a concept as the power to protect "domestic security." Given the difficulty of defining the domestic security interest, the danger of abuse in acting to protect that interest becomes apparent. --U.S. Supreme Court decision (407 U.S. 297 (1972)

Wow that looks good just a couple of minor points on the head/helmet. The black "band" should only go half way around the head, the "eyes" should be right under the "band", the "mouth" (grey stripped bit) should be a bit smaller. Finall the top of the helmet is too high, it looks like the Stormtrooper has Downe Syndrom (please don't take offence).

Are you going to make a Sandtrooper (Stormtrooper with the sholderpad) from this modle to be the AA unit?

Aircraftkiller

That's irrelevant to this thread.

Ad hominem - attacking the arguer and not the argument.

Actually, that Shoulderpad represents that that Stormtrooper is a Sergeant. It doesn't mean they are sandtroopers.

(I play StarWars: Galaxies and I've watched the movies, so I should know.)

Looks alright, except that the skin lacks detail in general. For example, instead of making the black parts of the suit solid black, it should have seams, stitching, etc... Right now it just looks like a render of the white plastic parts floating in the air.

I quite like Star Wars myself, but the funny thing about Stormtroopers is that their armour is never shown to offer any extra protection whatsoever. On screen evidence suggests that it can be penetrated easily by everything from a Blaster to an Ewok bow and arrow (made out of twigs and a somewhat sharpened pebble). Maybe it really is made out of cheap plastic and the Empire has somehow convinced everyone that it's a terribly effective form of body armour?

As a matter of fact, the original Star Wars budget was really small, which would explain why the suits look like dollar store stuff.

I think it looks nice. Just as an RA mod should be geared towards RA fans, a Star Wars mod should be geared towards Star Wars fans.

That's because they were dollar store stuff. George Lucas hyped the film with drawings to the toy manufacturing sect even before beginning production of the film. As part of his master plan he got them working on profiting from the sales. Once the Storm trooper halloween costumes had been out for a while they were sent to Dollar stores where George Lucas waited to greedily gobble them up for his production. He passed them out to all the hobos he dragged off the streets and had an expensve of about 150$ for the first one (He reused about 100 storm trooper costumes and spent the rest on liquor. George Lucas would make the Frugal Gourmet proud.
