omfg.... when i try to play all wol games it says operation timed out when i try to log in.. can some1 help me plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

try clicking "advanced game listing" and when it tries to connect click cancel and then try again. Usually works for me. Or use Lame...er...Gamespy.

There was a time when people were impressed that I have the firepower to decimate a planet in under 10 minutes.

search for "HOSTS" and delete them. Then restart and connect.

Aircraftkiller : There is nothing wrong with Snow. Those glitches are the servers fault, nothing is wrong with the map. I made Snow so its perfect.

Twix is referring to the "hosts" file. The file has no extension.

The hosts file in C:\ or C:\Windows..

And for the love of god put some effort into the grammar (spelling) of your posts.

hello... cant people just keep to the topic titles like people are having problems here and all you peeps are insulting each other. if you got a problem with some one post it else where.

Now, what are we supposed to do? delete the "HOSTS" files under what directory

Now that we have some evidence, can some one tell us exactly what to do?

Instead of just saying "oh go ahead, just delete HOSTS files". I mean, wtf like what hosts files. Where? How!?

Question nr1: do you know how to use explorer?
Qustetion nr2: Do you know how to delete files using explorer
If both are anwered with an yes, you have to read pass the spam, you will notice you have to search in the windows directory.

Altough I'm not sure if it will work, but good luck.

yea westwood is slow for me too... after a lot of tries i managed to get it... but i cant seem to join any game... and there are about 10 people in servers all together...

took a while but when i managed to get in to WOL i got 14 players total and first few login attempts i was only getting 4-10 servers and the rest wouldn't load.
