Hi guys and gals,
Firstly, I have used RG without any problems in the past, but the new patch is causing a lot of problems. At the end of the patch there is a message stating to contact you if the "alway.bds" file is a problem. So, I am.

Even with the patch disabled on the start menu, I have gotton a "version mismatch" message, then somehow my always.dbs file gets "corrupted".
Do I need to delete all othe "always" file from my data folder or what?

Shocked Secondly, of maybe more major concern: Did you know thier is somebody using your domain identity? When I do a search off my Yahoo toolbar using the search term "renguard", two entries come up. One is for WWW. Renguard.com and one is for http://www.renguard.net. Both programs instantly attempt to load some interesting spyware. In fact one of them tried to change my IE start-up page from my default. Thank God, for Spybot!!!!
Since, visiting those sites, my Dsl is in nearly constant activity, and I got a message (unconfirmed as to cause) to check my paypal account because somebody (could have been me since i recently upgraded to GS founder) tried to access my account.

Well, I felt these issues were serious enough to send you a post.
Please let me know what you find out, and how I can run RG so it does not corrupt things
Incidentally, I am running Windows XP, if that helps.
Thanks
Mark AKA Attaraxus

RenGuard does not load spyware - the official homepage for RenGuard is http://www.renguard.com

Whats that smell? Oh thats right, bullsh*t.

Renguard installs no spyware, no viruses, and doesn't go round your house killing all your pets after you've installed it either.

I apologise ruddles, The sites were in actuality, http://www.reneguard.com, and http://www.reneguard.net
Sorry for creatinig the confusion, but the same issue applies, these guys are using a name that is very close to Renguard. And, they do send you spyware big time, I just spent about four hours de-buggin my sys and its still not right..sigh..no one was acissing renguard of anything underhanded. You might take these posts a little more seriously instead of just reacting.

Sorry I bothered you.
