I get a "Connection was refused" message when I try to open anything on the main page, I suppose they are having some difficulties on thier end.

Colonel
earlier today when I went there the page said the site closed down. And suprnpva.org is gone as we knew it.

When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself,
First as a dark demon,
As a demon it uses its power to reign death upon the land;
and then it dies.

However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns.
This time as a great hero...

"Good-bye!
Greetings everybody, As you have probably noticed, we have often had downtimes. This was because it was so hard to keep this site up! But now we are sorry to inform you all, that SuprNova is closing down for good in the way that we all know it. We do not know if SuprNova is going to return, but it is certainly not going to be hosting any more torrent links. We are very sorry for this, but there was no other way, we have tried everything. Thank you all that helped us, by donating mirrors or something else, by uploading and seeding files, by helping people out on IRC and on forum, by spreading the word about SuprNova.org. It is a sad day for all of us! Please visit SuprNova.org every once in a while to get the latest news on what is happening and if there is anything new to report on. As we wish to maintain the nice community that we created, we are keeping the forums and irc servers open. Thank you all and Goodbye! sloncek & the rest of the SuprNova Team"

What the fuck... Just my luck. I had just found a 2 rare star trek game image files on that site yesterday and started downloading them. The whole site shuts down before they finished. Neutral Now that is bullshit.

I don't have the Torrent file anyways. Or dont know where it was sent. I just open torrent files when downloading instead of saving them.

Edit: Nevermind I found the tracker for one of the torrents , Which wasn't suprnova. I still need the Away team tracker.

Suprnova and such are only guides. They have no effect on the actual download of torrents.

Suprnova and TorrentBits are gone. They claim they couldn't find admins to maintain the sites or stuff, but I don't know...there's somekind of Anti-warez program going on out there. Finlands biggest Bittorrent site, Finreactor, was shut down, and the administrator's PCs were confiscated. Charges will probably be pressed against the most active uploaders too, but things in the court always take time, especially when there's a lot of information to deal with.

It worked pretty darn well, many warez-sites were closed down voluntarily when people realised that spreading copyrighted material over the Internet actually isn't legal.

This happened about a week ago, and was all over the news. Things have settled down since, but people are thinking twice (or more like 10 times), before using Bittorrent for illegal filesharing now...

There's a hole in the sky through which things can fly.
