ADM | This card with 2 GPUs on one card requires SLi to operate both GPUs.
An ATi employee on Rage3d stated that ATi have considered 2 GPUs on 1 card but it wasn't worth the investment. They could gain alot more performance from 2 seperate cards linked with SLi, rather than a single card with SLi. 2 seperate cards can operate cooler (allowing for better clocking, or overclocking) and the memory can be used more extensively with 2 cards rather than 1, for obvious reasons.
I still like the idea of 2 GPUs on one card, saves costs for user and increases performance over 1 independent card - which is never a bad thing with games like Half Life 2 and Doom III out.

But can two of these double GPU cards run together like the single GPU cards?
