hey guys - ermm so far iv'e not been able to play C&C renegade... It starts to load up ( well the first renegade screen you get ) then it stop's.. just doesn't go any further.. it's running at 100% cpu usage too :-s but it's not working.. any idea's?

try removing the vast amount of mods you have installed?

i had a problem where the more .pkg mods i had the longer Ren would take to load the start menu :/

Yeh humm thanks. dont be a cock. i asked a perfectly good question. i dont post on forum's unless i NEED to. yeh my pc's "old'ish" but that's not the problem.. as it handle's cs source pretty damn well Wink

n #2 im not stupid either.. if i knew what it was then i wouldn't post.. as far as i can see.. there is nothing wrong. but obviously there is cos it's stuck. next time try and reply with a bit of politness.. we where all noobs once Wink

I dont have no mod's installed. so i dont think that's the problem. but thanks.

open your start menu and scroll to programs - westwood - renegade and click renegade config. check that the game is trying to use your graphics card in one of the tabs...by the way has it worked at all before? sounds like a problem initialising directX, meaning either an outdated version of directX (probably not if you can run cs:source) and/or an outdated driver set for your video card.
