Renegade has been "dying" since it came out... all your words aren't going to make me decide a game isn't fun anymore. It's no fun when I say it's no fun... I don't see how you can change someone's mind. It's theirs to make.

If that is the case, I'd say I agree to a certain extent.
Renegade might be dying, but it won't die so fast. Not in a few months. If any n00bs come by and say he wanna quit, it doesn't change anything. As long as EA at least keep the Ren server up, there are still servers running and people playing. Mods are being rolled out. No, Ren is no longer popular, but there ARE players that still enjoy it, no matter because its relationship with C&C, its simplicity or whatever reason.
Balanced conclusion. Satisfied?

no, I don't.
does it have vehicle battles on multiplayer? does it lag on deathmatch alone? has everyone considered the fact that some people may not be able to support full on tank and vehicle war fare?
if so, then full speed ahead with the source engine.

It can do everything the Unreal engine can do. It's capable of handling many vehicles in multiplayer, as long as the physics are degraded a bit. They lag so fucking much right now because their physics weren't degraded by Valve.
