Well I always find losing more fun then winning anyway. How much fun is making an arguement everyone agrees with? It is more fun to have everyone trying to dispute it. Even more fun is watching them destroy it with facts you never knew. I don't argue with people on these boards to prove sides or points. I do it for the thrill of the fight, the knowledge gained from their arguements, and largely because it gives me something to think about in boring situations. Many a time when doing nothing I think back and think to myself, "Wait a second, that didn't make any sense, this guy is an idiot," not directing that at anyone.
And I know when I have lost. But even then I like to spew bad points I thought up just so I can defend them and amuse myself. I am not here to change anyones minds, you may recall I said some people won't change their minds no matter what.
As for the topic at hand, how do you know the French haven't realized that arguing with America is like arguing with someone putting their fingers in their ears while screaming LA LA LA OH SORRY I CAN'T HEAR YOU? They tried to avert war and now that it is so close to ending they know it will have to run its course. If Americans had found Saddam and were trying to battle it out with him in his absoulute last stand do you think there would be peace protests?
Claiming that they realized America showed that they would kick France hard is childish. America has no real reason to invade France. And they couldn't really invade France if they wanted to. Mainly because they wouldn't be able to drum up support for a war. So many countries that have something to contribute to a war against France have close ties to France. THey wouldn't want to go to war.
Well there is something for you to destroy when you find the time. Enjoy yourselves as I will enjoy watching.
