WTF? Pre-WW2 Germany was a facist state (Extream Right), the USSR was a Communist state (Extrame Left) they were nothing alike Stalin and Hitler hated each other. The only reason they had an alliance was because Hitler didn't want to have to fight a war on 2 fronts like the Germans did in WW1 and Stalin felt he was being given the "short end of the stick" in having to fight half of Germany's far superior army with little or no help from Western Europe.

If you take my post and the start of Laeubi's post you will see that you are wrong. A welfare state does not mean Marxism, Hitler set up parts of a welfare state yet he was facist. America has a welfare state, does that mean is't Socialist?

OK, well "love-hate" was perhaps the wrong phrase to use.
The real only differences between Fascism and Communism is their Economic policies, and the political decisions based around that aspect; and the idea of making people equal. Both styles offered NO political freedom.s whatsoever. There was ONE ruler (1 individual or 1 group), where the average person had no say in how the country was run. As I stated, the political views were the same (notice how they both oppose any type of democracy, that is what the cold war was about you know...), but the economic views were different; to the point of them dispising each other because of that.

there is no website thats stating what germany is not. because the list is infinite.
and if you dont get it: enought points are written down in this thread that proof marxism doesnt reign supreme here. (maybe there was a point in the past)

usa have no pensions , not any programs (unimportant what actually they do) for unemployed people and all that things ? not a little bit? (i dont know 100% because i dont life there) but if there is somthing like that: usa must be "based" on a welfare program according to ack's preferred line of argumentation.
i not deny that germany is one but this doesnt mean "Socialism\Communism reigns supreme" here. they only raise the standards for everyone. (raise the lower bound, but dont make everyone equal)

Can you not simply make a list, like I did, WHY germany is based on marx theries?
Because, come on well-fare is not a good argument.
Marx don't thought about well-fare when he stated 'equal live circumstances', he meant, that EVERYTHING is owned by the woorking-class, noone 'owns' something, just the community.
Come and visit Germany and you'll see we all wear different closes, eat different things and (nearly) all companys are private.

Not only that! Austria, The Netherlands and France, had that kind of a political Party too... Think of Jörg Heider, le pain (can't remember the correct spelling of that French guy anymore) and Pim Fortuyn (who got shot on 6th may 2002).. if you call these poeple communistic, then you've born in the wrong side of the town.
Also, Pim Fortuyn USED to be a Communist when he was a "young one".
Actually, Pim Fortuyn was different then le pain and Jörg heider... Pim Fortuyn was a bit political left (european Version) Compared to le pain and Jörg Heider.
