Basically I see things like this. God exists, the Bible has correct parts in it, and Jesus came here to die for us. However I believe that it takes more than faith to do what God intended us to do.

I believe he put us here to think and understand the world around us, not to blindly follow other humans who mislead and destroy. Why would God put his entire faith in humanity into corrupted church officials and expect sin to lead us to him?

Now, using that logic, we look at what God did. He procreates with a woman and Jesus is born. Jesus, being the son of God, has magic abilities including healing, divination, and the ability to rise from the dead.

I believe in God and in Jesus. I believe both exist and that both are looking after our best interests. However, if God can create Jesus, why is it impossible for God to have created lesser gods as well?

I don't buy into the Bible completely. It's been translated too many times and there have been a lot of instances where people are prevented from reading it or are told something different than what was really in the Bible. For all I know the Bible could confirm Wicca as being something Jesus practiced.

I practice magic through prayer to God and thoughts of goodwill. All witches that believe in the Rede will tell you the same thing I am, that goodwill is what we all wish to bring to the world through our actions. We are obviously unable to do this in peace due to people being misled into thinking witches are bad people that cast evil spells to hurt others. As with all parts of humanity, witches are not immune to having evil influence their actions, and as such there are bad witches. There are also bad Protestants, bad Catholics (Molesting little boys, anyone?), and bad humans in general.

I believe that what I am following in life is my true calling. I was totally Christian for 18 years and found that Wicca has changed my life for the better. My belief in God is stronger than it ever was because I can see his actions in everyday life, and I can hear him talk to me and know that I'm doing the right thing.

That's how I justify mixing together Wicca and Christianity. Unlike what the fundamentalist Christians would have you believe, they are quite compatible if you open your mind and learn more about the world. Not all religions are correct, and not all religions are totally wrong. All have something to learn from that will better yourself and further your life.
