2 days after i downloaded cp1 my renguard wont work it says "failed to recieve list of available master servers. check youre internet connection." ive tried reinstalling renguard but the message still appears and my internet connection is working properly. it happened after i tryed to log onto
this forum if anyone can help that would be great.

it had something to do with logging onto this forum my antivirus software has never been a problem. i tryed to report problems i was having in levels do to the cp1 patch, and had not registered when i thought i was.i was playing renegade, left to enter forum and returned to renguard not working. what would the forum have to do with this i dont know. like i said ive never had an issue before then.

I know Windows XP Service pack 2 blocks renegade etc so make sure you say 'unblock' if the window pops up saying it blocks internet access to it.

The default settings for SP2 is to block Renegade.
If you don't disable the firewall, it will ask you the first time you play Renegade wheter or not you wanna block internet access.
You can rent this signature for 2 euros/month.

if you mean it doesnt open any more, it doe open, it just minimizes it self for some odd reason, took me a while to notice it, right click on it and click restore.

i have unblocked renegade from sp2 firewall and still no luck. a message window pops up saying "failed to receive list of available master servers.please check internet connection." but i have an internet connection,renguard just isnt detecting it. it has got to be a setting somewhere i just dont know in what or where to change this or how to make it work. please help

You don't have to disable your firewall and shouldn't. You just go to start, control panel, windows firewall, then the exceptions tab and check renegade, and whater else you want to let have full internet access. Btw, firewall doesn't block renegade, it just blocks some features that access the internet.
