Crimson, is there some reason you put my IP on the deny list? I had to reset my modem and it was horrible. D:

For these forums? I doubt she did. There is an apache module though that automatically blocks people who flood, and sometimes it is accidentally triggered.

Oh, I thought it was offline but I was able to access it from my DSL connection. Thanks for the reply though. Smile

Yea, I had this happen earlier - I couldn't access renegadeforums.com and renguard.com. Nightma made me aware of what Blazer mentioned, he told me to try a proxy. So I set it up and here I am now, it's a great temporary solution; I believe Cool

These forums are being attacked frequently so I've had to tighten my DDoS protection. It's obviously too sensitive at this point. Sad

Back to the drawing board.

The attacks are insanely easy to stop when I'm at the keyboard, but automating the process is a bit difficult at the moment. I'm trying to find a solution that already exists instead of having to code my own, but no such luck yet.

Any secrets you can give me or Scamp to help protect from our attacks on our irc? They're getting annoying, and I want them to stop.

Not in this public place. If it's known how I defend, then new ways to evade will appear.
