Recruit

I just got my renegade server up and running with Rengaurd, and when ever i try to join it, it kicks me and says i need to have rengaurd running. Well, the fact is I do! I even tried on another computer, still, it kicks me. Other people can join the server, but I cannot, it onlykicks me! I even tried other accounts.

I think it may be an IP conflict, because the server is behind a router, and so am I,so there may be an issue there, please help!

Yes, that's exactly it. You need to create an ssc_ignore.txt in the same directory as RenGuard with your IP in it.

i created the ssc_ignore.txt file in my BrenBot folder, I put
cabaljr

and when i load up the brenbot.exe it says

Could not load ssc_ignore.txt - No users are being ignored by RenGuard!

???????????

just my ip right?

192.168.x.x

or my internet ip?

I would assume your "internet" ip, as that's what you'd be connecting to the renguard network with.

i fixed the issue of it not reading the ignore list, now it can, all had to do was make it all caps.

But its still now allowing me to join. I have tried my internet ip and my lan ip

AHA! Ok, for all of you out there who have the same issue, what you have to do, is make a txt file in your brenbot folder named "SSC_IGNORE" and you have to put in the USERNAME not the IP

Arg! People dont even know there own product.
