What do you want it for, making movies, displaying FPS or taking screenshots? Get v1.9 of FRAPS, it's free and I use it for FPS display.
There was a time when people were impressed that I have the firepower to decimate a planet in under 10 minutes.

Not in my experience. It displays the same FPS as Renegade does when it's off.

Game Cam sucks.
Fraps 2.0 is a lot better than 1.9, I don't see why you don't want to use Fraps.

Game Cam records skippy and jolty. Fraps does not. Game Cam is complicated, Fraps is not. Game Cam doesn't do the job for me, Fraps does.

How can it be my computer if Exdeath's video (obviously recorded by Game Cam) was running at 15 fps and that my Fraps movies are recorded at 30 fps? There is nothing wrong with my computer, the software isn't that great.

Well here i go with a HUGE review...
Game Cam is better for me.
Just kidding... let me say more...
FRAPs takes only 30 seconds or video that can amount to 300mb in total, and shows FPS.
Game Cam Lite is unlimited time without the FPS but can do a 5 minute video at 150mb.
I like Game Cam better, who needs quality when you have LOTS AND LOTS of quantity?
But I guess that it all comes out to what you need and why.

Yes but fraps videos arn't compressed at all, once compressed they're not big at all in size.
