Okay, remember all those times where you were like: "OMG! That Guy Has to be using a aimbot! Oh, wait, this is a RG protected server, silly me!". Well, I found a AimBot Program when testing mods. Here is how it works and my suggestions on how to stop it.
- Notice how when you point at a enemy's building the crosshairs turn green, but when you point them at enemy personall it turns red.
- A aimbot is a program, not a objects.ddb or W3D File
A aimbot scans a certain pixel width in the monitor's display. It must be set to pick-up when a certain pixel or pixels turn red. A aimbot does not shoot at buildings or friendlies because it is green, white, or yellow. This is how a aimbot works.
My suggestion is this, make a crosshair with two different shades of red. This confuses the aimbot. Such as the Srean Warthog one. While I have not tested on anything more than that practice dummies, I think this should be suffiecent for now.
If you must know how I found this out, I am a re-formed hack user. I got this idea from when I used a aimbot. I now use RG, so don't worry. Of course, if you don't believe me then ban me.
No. Seriously. No.
