Yeah, my house is in Foley, Baldwin county. There wasn't much house damage, only 3 spots where the sheetrock from the ceiling caved in, insulation everywhere. Also bunch of shingles and 10 foot branches all up in the yard, half of the trees in the yard are sideways. Gulf Shores was only known as 'Gulf' for awhile, and there was no was way to get east of Pensecola since most of the bridges were out. I went to Mobile to my sister's house to stay, and after the storm here neighboorhood looks like a jungle with all the leave and branches everywhere, or poles cut in half and free floating by their power lines.

Oh yeah also today Bush came down to survey the damage and pretty much said "looks pretty bad".

my grandparents live in Lake Wells, and they packed up all there valuables in their camper, and headed north for a US tour of family members. Their entire city is pretty much wasted, there house in particular had the roof blow to pieces, and all the rain just laid waste to the interior of the house. Pretty much an entire renovation will have to be done to save the house.

But, they should be out here in cali in a few days, and i can get a better grip on what happened there. Sink Hole City = bad idea for a city (lake wells is a HUGE sink hole, and there are sink holes throughout that area, guess what happened, more)
