Thanx to whoever changed my name, and also to Dante.
I need to learn A bit of VB for college, Everyone else there already knew bits of it and didnt know any :s so I thort I'd read up a little.
The version I got is Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0

yeah, i figured, a lot of application development in college & university level is done with visual basic 6 and .Net, it all depends on your teachers preferences, plus vb is good to make small little tools to help you with your homework etc...

Yes, Visual Basic is definitely useful for applications that help you with your homework.
I made a pong game once in Visual Basic, it took like two weeks because Visual Basic is for designing applications, not games.
