Wait... so why can you have liberty and live in an equal society? I don't think they're exclusive I just think people have no idea how to do it. (you know can't escape that imutable human nature)

Liberty equates to Autonomy, which leads to the betterment of society. If everyone is equal, there would still have to be Some unequal to run it all. or it would die. I submit the movie Harrison Bergeron (1995).

Quote:

All men are not created equal. It is the purpose of the Government to make them so." This is the premise of the Showtime film adaption of Kurt Vonnegut's futuristic short story Harrison Bergeron. The film centers around a young man (Harrison) who is smarter than his peers, and is not affected by the usual "Handicapping" which is used to train all Americans so everyone is of equal intelligence.

Link to the short story that inspired the movie.

Total equality is the worst possible thing that could ever happen. If one person falls down the stairs and breaks his leg, in accordance with total equality, does the governement systematically break everyones legs, so no one has any possible advantage over anyone else? I'm starting to seriously doubt the feasability of the continuance of this species with the way things are going...
