Hi. I'm new to Renegade, about one month into play. But this Core Patch 1 thingy sounds great, but since it is not a official patch (I think) can someone tell me what it does?

I believe it's being made by Blackhand Studios that fixes some bugs left by the creators of Renegade. The patch is called "Core Patch 1" and will fix things like Map errors etc.

Game is fine as it is imho.

yeah as matt said it basically tries to fix all the stupid bugs in renegade and make it slightly better.
(eg when players go invisible on volcano etc...)

We are very soon releasing a CP1 info site that will have information on CP1 as well as allow server owners to sign up to beta test the patch.
