I was reading a n00b story recently, and it said someone was a n00b because they broke the rules by "walking backwards into a obelisk". What does this mean?

Is there a way to fight this... can you guys give some hints when/where these cheaters go do the "obly walk"? It would be useful for other people, like me, when mining the base.

Where does these A-hole come from, in a map, to do the "obly walk"? So they can be stopped before they get there.
