also, let me tell you for those that think gsa sucks:
- Ask yourself do you thinking having constant wol connection lost server restarts are worth it?
- Having cheaters that have been banned rejoin the server with new ip worth it? (cdkey banning v.s ip banning)
- 9 char limit... meh I think sucks but whatever... I love my =[UN]= tag.
- When was the last time GSA was down? In comparison to wol,.... wait thier is no comparasion.
The game started on GSA, the demo didn't have a wol mode, you guys played then and you can play now...
with bhs enchancemetns (page function on gamespy e.t.c.) running on gsa is very attractive offer, not to mention linux can only support gamespy mode.
The choice is up to you, see a few dumb adds and play without interuptions or option B: get disconected constantly.

hate to break it to you, but if you are running on wol those crackheads can still join the server with long names using renip or a batch file
Also gamespy does not allow longnames (above 30 cahrs) and it does not allow spaces inside names.
These peopel are either using all seeing eye or ren ip. Stop blamming gamespy for a flaw in the renegade engine.

I've been using ASE back in my 56K days, it's pretty good actually. No ads, just a message telling you to register every week or so, which you can safely ignore. I still prefer WOL though.

A lot of people, like me, can't play on gay spy.
We get kicked the minute we join a game thanks to EA.
Beter known as "raapnaap".

And this is another Reason GSA is actually aka GaySpyArcade.
People bought the game and they just cant play on GSA lol. How gay is that?
Suppose WOL is no more sometime soon these people cant play anymore at all.
Because the serials are not registered with GaySpy database.

That's not GSA's fault. That would be EA.
ASE > GSA > WOL.
