2. These hacks are NOT the main reason to download RenGuard. People using these types of cheats are easily spotted by moderators and banned. The truly evil hacks are the subtle ones that just give the cheaters enough advantage to always win, but otherwise go unnoticed. I can assure you there are many more people cheating in renegade than you think, and they are not using anything like what is shown in this video.

I don't think people realise how worse off a few GX guys could have made the game back in october 03'. On their part they were foolish to release an objects.ddb that allows for huge amounts of points when killing shit in 1 shot..
but had they been smart, and gave you little to no points for it, the ban lists sure as hell wouldn't be as big, and every game could be a cheater's game. It would've been the ultimate tool..join a populated game, and wipe the field with a rifle soldier while remaining undetected. it's a good job renguard came out before someone decided to release such a modification.

That downloader Java applet made my F-prot Virus scanner go nuts about w32.clspring.B virus... but I can't really find any references on Google about it. Either way, I know what cheating looks like so I'll refrain.
