I noticed that I had some errors inputting my serial number in. Is there anywhere I can change it? I don't wanna re-install the game...Can you edit the WOLData.key file? It has numbers in it...

I'm pretty sure if you put in the cd and go to the install, you can input the serial and select the same install directory and it'll just change the serial and won't overwrite any other files.

Must have. If you have some errors inputting your serial, the setup program wouldn't allow you to continue until a valid serial is entered.
So that leaves two options:
[list]Serial Ban, trying to evade...
Warez version, trying to get a serial that'll work with WOL... (good luck)[/list:u]

if your number was wrong it wouldnt let you put it in in the first place :rolleyes:

nope ur wrong. u cant connection on GSA or WOL if the serial was wrong. u can still install with a fake serial.

It depends on how "wrong" le serial is.
I've transposed a few numbers before. It let me install but wouldn't let me connect to WOL.

like 2.5 years ago I had a generated cd key wich let's you install the game and play single player. WOL won't work at all. I tried many thing to get it to work with GSA nothing heled untill I edited some files and loged on to n00bstories server I was so happy... when i tried another swerver it didn't work and i didn't remember what server it worked on. Few months later I fegured out that it wasn't the fack that i edited the files but that you can play all the WOLSpy servers from GSA with a fake cd key.
PS. I do now have a REAL CD KEY, and use WOL all the time. Also the key in the registry is encrypted.

i have just got renalert and i had just uninstalled renegade and lost the 1st disk and when i come to play renalert it says i need a woldata.key? can i download it or will i need to buy renegade again?

You realized you revived an old thread right? I don't think anyone will give you their WOLData.key, its an encrypted version of their serial number.
(P.S. I think you can only get up to 2 people to use the same serial.)
