You know, I'd nominate Aircraftkiller.
Reason: He has had extensive experience in 'modding' Renegade, creating maps and various other things. He is upfront about other peoples work.
However, a lot people hate him. Probably because they take his comments too personally. I remember last time he was a moderator here he caught a lot of flak, but I think he is upto the job.
