"We report, you decide."
See? They're not biased, they just report! You get to decide what's true and what isn't! How can you call them biased??
PS. If anyone doesn't understand sarcasm, I hate you.
And shepherds we shall be,
For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from thy hand;
That our feet may swiftly carry out thy command.
And we shall flow a river forth to thee,
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.

Panther | FOX is pretty shoddy for any real shred of deceny or truth. Do you see these horrible reality TV shows the network is making?
|
Yeah ... "Trading Spouses"? Didn't I see that shit on the Chapelle Show like 2 years ago? And it was fucked up as a joke.
And shepherds we shall be,
For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from thy hand;
That our feet may swiftly carry out thy command.
And we shall flow a river forth to thee,
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.

cowmisfit | Fox news DOES tell the truth, it shows both sides of the story, fair and balanced, wheter you think it is or not , it most deffinitly is. Infact, the owner of Fox News is backing KERRY I rember seeing a few weeks ago.
|
Rupert Murdoch backing Kerry? That's something I don't see happening. If you're going to say something like that, show an actual article or at least something. FOX News is such a lie. They feed fools like you false opinions all day long. Like how they pretend that there is an actual debate surrounding the Swift Boat ads, when in fact it's all a bunch of crap, and how they pretend that the Swift Boat ads and the Move On ads are two heads of the same coin.
atrios.blogspot.com | Why are the Swift Boat Liar ads and Move On's ads equivalent? On one hand we have proven liars contradicting existing Navy records and 35 years of public comment, and on the other hand we have legitimate questions, raised by many prominent news organizations, about whether George Bush bothered to show up for national guard service as he was required. There are many legitimate questions about Bush's failure to fulfill his duty, including his failure to take a required flight physical, as well as the fact that Bush lied about his military record in his autobiography. Kerry has Navy records to back up his claims, Bush does not.

Aircraftkiller | Except Kerry hasn't released all of his records... Especially the ones concerning his "service in Cambodia" which was "seared into my memory."
He lies, but it's okay. Bush releases his records, and people still question it? I don't see why it matters as to whether or not either of them served, or how they left, what matters is what they're doing right now...
|
Which records hasn't Kerry released?
Oh no, Cambodia. You mean the Christmas thing? Well, he was there during Tet, which is Christmas in Cambodia, somewhere around January 10th and goes on for about 6 days, last I checked.
And Bush hasn't released his records to a good extent. An extent like Kerry. Ooh, dental records. Those prove nothing. Right now, some people are campaiging with the Texas National Vault people to have Bush's records released, because as a law everyone's records need to go in a vault.

Perhaps I was a little sharp-tongued, but I find it hard to respect anything that comes out of FOX. It's all a lie, and makes me so angry some times.

There is no way you can miss the right wing feel of FOX- especially on the debate shows. My advice would be to pick a left wing network and watch both that and FOX, somewhere in between the two you MIGHT be able to figure out what's really going on. :rolleyes:
It's actually rather funny- a few years ago, no one could have imagined that the internet would become a more reliable source of information than the news, but since all the TV networks are either rating whores, biased, or both, the only place you can find a good, neutral opinion is by poking around online. Or walking up to a trusted informant and asking them what the fuck is really going on. Either way, your TV is not to be trusted. Even the goddamn newspapers are going down the tubes.
"Arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. Horrid mischief would ensue were (the law-abiding) deprived of the use of them." - Thomas Paine
Remember, kids: illiteracy is cool. If you took the time to read this, you are clearly a loser who will never get laid. You've been warned.

I don't want analysis... CNN gives me an unbalanced version of the facts... I have a good laugh, then sometime later in the evening I read the transcripts of Rush's commentary and he generally comes to the same conclusions I do and gives me other food for thought... plus a great research team with tons of links to useful articles.
I'm the bawss.

It's common sense... he talks about the news, he doesn't report it. In fact he generally seems to assume that people already know the news he's going to comment on.
