Im not talking about a signature for posting but when i scan a real signature and email it to someone. when the other person gets it, it comes out as a image type file. and my friend wants to have that signature there for whenever he emails something. but i can't figure out how to turn a image type file into a word file without getting that computer babble stuff. i know how to get a signature for an email but i just dont know how to turn it into a word file.

If we changed the "America at War / Politics" to off topic and then all of places would be on topic. I think the off topic forum would get bigger than all others put together though?

I never post in the "America at War / Politics" section because I don't have much to say about that I belive what I belive and there is nothing else to say.

You cant "turn" an Image file into a Word file. You can add an image file to a word file. Thats your only option.

You can just copy and paste the image into the email. Only other people with an email client that understands what to do with attachments (like outlook/express) will be able to see it displayed normally. Others will just see it as an attachment.

Actually, you can get a special program that can look at an image and create a text file from the text in the image. (Like if you have an image with "I own you!" in text in the image, put it through the program and it will create a text file with "I own you!" in it.)
