Are you running any kind of firewall? A few users have found that disabling their software firewalls has allowed it to run fine. You can re-start the firewall software after the SSC has connected.
Obviously, this is only a temporary workaround. I don't expect people to have to do this on a permanent basis. But, if you have a few minutes please try and let me know!
If disabling your firewall allows the SSC to work, please post here and let me know what firewall you're using so I can procure a copy and come up with a solution.
