Spreegem hit the nail on the head. Assasins typically, and traditionally keep a means of suicide on them to prevent being captured and tortured for information. This is especially true in Japanese culture. Given the super dedicated nature of Nod, and thier belief that Kane is messiah, this would also be true for their assasins.
And no, I don't advocate that approach. There is only one messiah, and Jesus doesn't want people killing at all, let alone themselves.

Of course I'll let the man write his work!! Sergei is an infiltration unit, so will he become one of the stealth black hand, or will he be an elite inflitration unit that the stealth can't handle? Sergei, of course will get a good score, the firing range is meant for presicion, not speed.
