When diliberate threads about bashing someone are made, I ALWAYS move them. If person to person bashing starts in a thread I tend to let them go for a while, as I suspect something stated in the thread caused the people partaking in it to get out of hand, but more or less remain on the topic at hand. Diliberate threads however, have no point other than an excuse to flame someone. I didn't let them stay when such topics were made during the forum vs. Alkaline war, I won't let them stay when it they are made about any forum member.

As for subject material, go for it. Bash about Bush, flame about Tax's. Go all out against Renalert or Reborn. I could care less as no forum member is being targeted (though yes, forum members generally become targeted during such topics, but it evolves into that, and generally isn't deliberate, though some exceptions on a case by case ruling apply). And in this case, if it gets out of hand, it's usually moved to the hot-topics forum.

In short, if you want to diliberately start a topic sbout some member of the forum, don't do it here. Go to another site, or start your own web page about it. Then we can all laugh at you (NOT on this forum), just as we did when we found out about Davestories.
