No, you aren't incorrect in that belief.
A manager of any type irregardless of what situation is supposed to be impartial. That's why BHS has a disclaimer stating that only the three managers are to be considered as the absolute authority in BHS communications. They have members that can't behave themselves and attack each other and other mods on the very forums they are supposed to support. I particularly like ack stating JW is full of it, and SK's nice little "you can't trust JW" blurb in his signature.
And then there's the whole REBORN thing...

They are supposed to be impartial and communicate to all members the community impartially. So, you see, you aren't incorrect in that assumption.

What I mean by neutral point is that anybody in the entire community can join the forums without "fearing" to be insulted by the owners or been banned by no specific reason by the owners.
I doubt that Ted had a chance to see Crimson's message.

You should see what they do in IRC. SK is extremely immature. mac had to scream at him and tell him to stop attacking JW in the public chat. It's really hard to take the team seriously when they even fight among themselves. Jonwil is a great guy that messed up once. Hes probably done more for Renegade modification wise than any other person.

You missed the entire point..
1) ACK is obviously an abbreviation of Aircraftkiller. Blazer commonly misspells "already" with two l's, so I put a filter in there to automatically fix it for him. I did this along the same lines.
2) Waking up to this huge thread full of complaining that you can't call him ACK anymore (if I left it on) PROVES HIS POINT that you are using it to insult him and you resent not being able to insult him anymore!

No, here's the difference. I didn't delete this thread. I don't delete Reborn-bashing threads. If someone bashed RenAlert, I wouldn't delete that thread either. Once again, I THOUGHT you all said "ACK" to shorten his name. If I'd known you call him that to insult him, I wouldn't have added a filter. And since you DO in fact use it to insult him, I removed the filter and hence re-enabled your ability to insult him.

That is not even remotely a logical conclusion.
*MAYBE* people used "ACK" as an insult. But that's not the only possibility...
*MAYBE* people think the shortened version "ACK" looks better than the longer version "Aircraftkiller."
*MAYBE* people prefer to read "ACK" rather than "Aircraftkiller" because it's two fewer syllables and much easier to read, especially when it shows up 300 times per thread.
*MAYBE* people resent you changing their writing. The fact that you're changing "ACK" to "Aircraftkiller" is irrelevant.
If I want to insult Aircraftkiller, I'll call him AssCrackFiller, or FRL, or any other insulting parody of his name I can think of. ACK is not an insult. It's simply his name.
Just because I'd rather call gay people "gay" than "homosexual," that doesn't mean I'm homophobic or a gay-hater. I just think all this politically correct shit is fuckin' bull. And I don't play that game. THAT is why I got angry that you made the "ACK" filter.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents...
What's so bad about the filter anyways? Why is it so important that you'd HAVE to say ACK, and have it stay like that rather than be changed to aircraftkiller, as thats what is inferred anyways?
It would be the same as the filter replacing "u" with "you", and "r" with "are", and I doubt that people would complain about it. heck, I'm sure that if Crimson were to put in place a filter that replaced, "lol" with "laughing out loud" I doubt anyone would complain.
Simply put, grow up people. Those who are complaining about this are probably the same type of people who cry injustice when they get caught cheating on a test and are failed for it.
Ask yourself this: is it REALLY so bad that "ACK" is replaced with "Aircraftkiller"? It's the same word, isn't it? I could understand if a filter was put in place were if something like "Crimson's fat" were changed to "I'm stupid" or something like that, but changing one word for another when it's EXACTLY the SAME word and then complaining about it is so childish, wouldn't you say?
