lol....In a recent poll, the majority of Americans thought George Bush was richer than Senator Kerry, when in fact it is not even close.
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)
"The danger to political dissent is acute where the Government attempts to act under so vague a concept as the power to protect "domestic security." Given the difficulty of defining the domestic security interest, the danger of abuse in acting to protect that interest becomes apparent. --U.S. Supreme Court decision (407 U.S. 297 (1972)

That all depends on how you look at power.
I would say that controlling the vast resources and armies of America negates Mr. Kerry's lead financially.

Fact is, they hate news, they barely know anything, they igniorant of what's really going on in the World, most of them even think that Baghdad is the capital of Afghanistan.
Their opinion doesn't matter until they finally grow up in maturity. At the moment, politics don't matter to most of them, it's something boring made for "older people" and "nerds".
Yeah, the governement owns a media network, doesn't mean that they control everything that is said.
I find it sad personally when we start talking about politics in history class, even the teacher sighs.
I could also say that 9 out of 10 of the Americans polled in the streets of New-York didn't know where Canada was, and also thought that Canada was an American state.
Get your facts right, politics is no entertainement for most teenagers almost everywhere. I had a talk with one of my friends in the electoral campain, he thought that Liberals were evil because they wanted to apply a rule about "teenagers been home at 10:00P.M otherwise they'd get arested", which isn't true, it's only true in one county which was ours. Trust me, the media has nothing to do with what teenagers think.
I suck cock and love it... absolutely love it. And I just got banned for being too immature to be allowed to post here.

Yeah right, like if every cable provider made all of them premium channels, fact is, those channels aren't from this country, even if Fox has a Canadian version, and I'd also like to mention that it's THEIR CHOICE if they want to become a premium channel or a basic one, it's profit-wise.
You don't broadcast any of our channels, we do, you should feel lucky.

I don't think you understood what I said. The people I work with don't care for the current American administration. Evil is a tad harsh, but it certainly isn't likable. I agree with them.
It is pure ignorance to say or think that Americans don't dismiss Canada in many instances. While this doesn't necessarily mean "evil", I'm going to stretch that definition as broad as possible. The number of times Canada has actually been commended by American people I know I could count on my hands. I've kept fairly silent on the issue because I can usually take a joke, but what you've just said is just blantant lies.
I suggest you tell your government to stop thinking that whatever you do is good, legal, moral, glorious, just, whatever. And I desperately hope you go away from this knowing that the surrounding world doesn't necessarily like the people you have representing your country. It's not propaganda that sways their opinion, it's fact.
