what can i do to boost volume on sounds i put into data folder
cos u can bearly hear them

if they are in WAV format, you can just open them with the windows WAV editor and up the volume with that

ye i did but i have to boost it like 500\%

even though at normal it is just as loud as the files i extracted from always.dat or what ever its called

is it possibly a file format problem

not sure... maybe ask buzzer, heh he's the MASTER OF MODS so it seems, what format are you using?
