Hello everyone,
It's been confirmed I am now working on an Earth & Beyond mod for Renegade. What's the point of this topic then you say? Well this'll be the place for; news, updates, beta sign-up (Don't ask now It'll have a private beta to begin with and then a public beta), screenshots and more ! The work on the actual mod hasn't begun yet because I am still ( ![[Frown]](frown.gif) ) Waiting for that convertor Script to be released or until I get a copy of it ![[Smile]](smile.gif) .

Here's some of the things I would like to incude in the modification:
Terran Enforcer (That's my ship in the beta )
Terran Tradesman
Jenquai Defender
Jenquai Explorer
Progen Warrior
Progen Defender
Many many many star bases including:
Net7 Sol!
Earth Station
Luna Station
Earth Corps High Commmand
And many more of the Jenquai and Progen bases.
And before you ask any questions or anything here is a quick FAQ for the mod:
Why did I decide to create this mod ?
Well as soon as I joined and downloaded the Earth & Beyond beta I loved it, so I thought to my self not long ago why not make a mod for Renegade of E&B. Not only will it boost publicity for the game (Which isn't at all the main reason for the mod) and also I think a mod of E&B would be great
Isn't it illegal to take Westwood Studios models and use them in a modification ?
Yes it is very illegal to do this, but I have been given Full Authorized use to use the models from E&B directly from Westwood themselves. Here is a quick sample from the e-mail I recieved about the models:

Will there be a beta for this mod ?
Indeed, there will be a beta for this mod. IN the early stages of the mod it will be strictly private but as the mod gets closer and closer to completion there will be a public beta test
Why Earth & Beyond why not create other mods?
Well, Earth & Beyond really opened my eyes and I decided it would just be a great idea for a Mod.
Where Can I find more information about this mod?
Currently this is the only place where information is being held about the Renegade mod, but soon there will be news and files for the mod on my website: planetshaun .

Ha ! Ack won't be getting this mod ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif) . And yeah this is definatly going to be finished this mod. The work will all begin when I get that convertor from Dante/Abjab. Did you know that the terimals in the Starbases that you manufacture etc from are 3 times the size of a AGT . LOL I put it into Level Edit .

correction. i opend your eyes. if i never mentioned the modles being w3d and all that you wouldnt of done anything. not that im trying to say stop just correcting. i would be looking forward to the mod but i have the beta so... ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)
