okey... in the tutoral it says for me to open RenX to make maps...well... it's giving me the look that says... I dunno what program to open with... and when i try to poen, it won't let me... HELP! ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)

yup i get the same thing, it tells me renx is located sumwhere on the d drive ![[Confused]](confused.gif) i reinstalled renegade sooo many times and installed those mod tools and on and on, but it wont work, it just tells me "open with"

I would uninstall tools, gmax. And reinstall.
Make sure you run gmax before installing the tools.

Ok now, here, this will fix it.
Uninstall and reinstall the mod tools. Once the installation os complete, restart your computer.
Hope that helps. It worked to me and to many other users.

you have to start renx here:
start->programs->renegade tools->renx
i think that works. i'm not sure

ok.. well.. i had same problem. are you sure it wont work? in windows screen push start->programs and so on..
my renx wont start when i try to start it in some directorys somewhere.. it only works in start menu. maybe you have some other problem. i cant help you then. sorry=)

hi. i just wanted to know how i can add ladders to my level. i cant find it anywhere in the level editor. i can find elevators and doors but no ladders. if somebody know please tell me.

go on the menu to the right, open up objects>transitions, at the bottom should be ladder bottom and top. make sure the ladder bottom is low enough for your guy to grab on, and the top should be directly above it. They bothe should be sunken into your ladder that you made, at least half way. and the top should be above the ladder half way.
