I want the radar/health/armor display GONE off the screen...also the weapon display if possible. How can I do this? I tried editing the hud_main.dds etc, and only suceeded in turning it black or white.

I notice there is a registry key "SHOWHUD" but turning it off had no effect.

Any ideas? Thanks.

hey blazer, well sry i cant be a help here, but y would u want it tottaly removed?? is it for a mod or map?? just out of curiosity

oh 1 more thing, OT, is the pits or domminon guild gona be using BlazeRegulator??

You could edit the alpha channel of hud_main.dds ( tutorial) and have it completely transparent, but the weapon displays would still be there I think.

generalfox: yes thats as good as I can get I guess. For those wondering, I want the HUD removed so there is less clutter on the screen when I record the next Renegade video [Smile]

I guess it was good I wasn't able to get it fixed yet. I'm glad I could help Blazer! Enjoy

And, to tell you the trueth, I like that it takes the circle around the gun out... It looks better (except for the numbers), totally...

The reason it did this because it's the "Black skin" of the hud. Sinse the hud has no model it just shows as transparent.

This could give you a way to get the rest of it transparent as well Blazer.

play with the dx alpha channel... i made it one time... nothing appeard [Wink]
