That model has quite a few special attributes...

First, it has light-reflective mapping.
Second, it has pulse mapping so that the blue you see on the charging coils pulses over time.

nice. But the tesla coil from ra1 looks stupid. I mean, look at it. You did nice job though, but whats holding up those rings?

I loke it much better than what i had textured my version like.....although i dont know alot about textures.....but it looks great.

Oh wires are holding up the rings, just like in the movies. Sometimes you can see the wires and if its a good movie you cannot see the wires.

no i mean , what is holding them up? (if it was real)

Floating rings that shoot electric bolts is messed up. Unless static-e creates some sort of feild that levetates them. but in that case would be stoooopid.

heres my veiw: That model is perfect.
But the design (that ww made) dosent make sense (IMHO).

i agree.

your model is cool ACK. but Westwood made a crapy tesla coil. its a bit too simple and the rings are floating with nothing on it.

Well - it may be magnetic repulsion that is levitating the rings above the base --

and the rings dont shoot the electricity - the big knob on the top does -- like a Telsa coil.

all in all - nice weapon -- and in RA2 - was slick how the soldiers got fried by it.... zaaaaaap.
