ok, i've heard of many people saying they've placed beacons ontop of harvesters, but i haven't been able to do this. can someone please tell me how this is done, because it sounds really cool, but it doesn't want to work for me.

Uhh, just throw it on top the of Harvester? That would be funny if the Haverster go back to the enemy base and ends up wasting the Refinary.

whenever i've used the beacon, it just kind of dropped where i was standing. how do you throw it up?

You have to be above the Harvy. They might have jumped down on top of the Harvy.

but it doesn't go anywhere close enough to do that. unless you drive ontop of a tank or somethnig, but that would be rather hard.

I think I read about someone using other players and stacking to get up on it. I'm not sure how (while its dropping off tiberium maybe?)
Could be wrong.

They could have used other vehichles parked next to the harvy to get up the high.

the beacon on top of harvester thing is a lie if yopu did place it on top of the harvy it would just float in mid-air untill it beeped down to zero and did it's thing, i have doen this via i placed my buggy at side of hand of nod, jumped from top floor onto buggy then onto a temates flame tank from there then onto the harvester and placed the beacon then watched it float there in mid air as the harvy went to collect tiberium.

u can do it with c4, ive never tried it with a beacon, but im pretty sure the same concept applies. put it on the side or back, not the top.

It's lots of fun to sit up top and lob C4 at enemy tanks

Beacons don't stick like the c4 does. They get planted at your feet.

If you wanna nuke the harvester you could take a chemwarrior and safely arm one in the middle of the tiberium field. Prety much a waist of good credits though since you could put on a C4 and chem it down.

it is a waist of credits if you do this it takes 1000 credits to buy a beacon, and it is just the question [Confused] if it is a hit, and a new harvester will be automaticly buy'd, if you wan't to take it out it's best to buy a rocket infantery, or a mendoza.

You can't place a nuke or ion on top of the harvester because it just goes straight through the harv and arms itself on the ground underneath the harvester. We have tried it, we first jumped on top of the ref on field then we tried ti nuke the harvester by climbing onto it, it armed on the ground. As soon as the harvester drives off it will move underneth you, you can't hitch a ride on a vehicle like on BF1942.

When you put a beacon it always puts it on the ground below you not sideways. I dont know if there is a map where the harvester gets right next to the hand of nod so you can jump throught a window. Another way to TRY and do it is on the multi practice map. you could TRY to jump on the harvester when its below you but you would need a kangaroo with the beacon in its pouch. That would be very funny seeing a kangaroo with a pistol.
