Its very hard, I beat it on commando though...you just have to high tail it to the back of the temple. Then there is an armor powerup (or health, then just sit on the place where the powerup was and it will regenerate) between the stair ramp and the wall. You just have to destroy all the camera guns with lazers.

Then you have to kill all the guards, and once they stop coming you can go down to the next level.
