You say it happend from typing "wads" into the command console? If that cause the problem try typing in some prefix symbols because if it is a command switch to change graphics modes it would be conceivable that you can change it back. so try stuff like "/wads" or "nowads". If you turn out making it worse the reinstall...looks like you are headed down that path anyway...might as well give it a try and see if your lucky. Alternatively, I would suggest you should try emailing westwood about the problem because I have never heard of that happening to anyone. However if your twitching to play the game you may have to wait a while for a response. You might want to reboot after you uninstall Renegade so that if the graphics changes are in your registry the install can start clean again. It would suck if you had reinstalled and the graphics are still screwy.
