Rofl.. this was funny.. I was in 6 player game.. And no one was laying mines for deffence. So I decide to try a little experiment.  I got hotwire, and a Mammoth. Then I put 30 mines all around the mammoth. Then I just put it near the enimies base and waited and watched. Then a nod goes to steal it and BOOM the proxies **** him.
Ok.. Yeah. IT's a waste of time, waste of mines, and stupid.
But.. It is FUNNY.

Sometimes when I rush in an APC by myself I will throw 6 mines on all four sides. That way when I drive by the enemy I kill them or I gaurantee my ride back home!

to derstruax, UR A F***ING DUM***, you dont go round stealin ppl's rides cause they will make everyone h8 u and no1 will repair ur ******, i alrdy h8 u if u love stealin ppl's rides cause some basterd went and stole my mammoth and i was rlly ****ed, i got the host 2 boot the basterd

hey auther the only problem with doin this is that mammoths cost 1500 and with no gdi in them the mines blow the mammoth up, a suggestion is do it with somethin cheaper cos ppl will steal anything just to do a little damage b4 bringin in big stuf like flamers, to use , example is humvee

The sides of the mammoth is the best spot for proxies though. Mammoths blind spots from infiltry is it's sides because of the slow turning speed. 2 chem warriors can take out a mammoth by sticking to it's sides.

IT didn't blow the mammoth up, only 6 exploded.. not enough to kill mammy. And.. He was talking about stealing the enimys vehicles, numnuts!

Ummm...at no point was I stealing my teammate's vehicles. And it's not only practical to steal enemy vehicles, it's tactical too, as it reduces their vehicle limit total.  I was at full health when I spotted the empty Orca on City_Flying, and I didn't really feel like hoofing it back to base. It's not my fault whoever bought the thing didn't put it in a well-defended area. On Walls_Flying, I was merely taking back what was ours to begin with. I didn't even really WANT the d4mned thing, I just was stealing it back for our team. Once I got back, I landed in front of the 'strip and announced anyone who repaired it could have it.  And if someone steals your mammoth, it's because you tried self repairs and deserved it.

How did Dragonsbane merit 5 stars on his "member rating". He needs to work on his reading skills and take an anger management class or something. Thanks for the tips guys, I never thought of mining up my own apc. I usually have very little luck convincing engies to ride along in my apc. Great idea for solo apc raids, cause I hate turning over our apc to the other side.

Said it once...i'll say it again. If you get out of your vehicle to repair it...in the midst of battle, You...are...a...moron...and I will take your vehicle and laugh at you all night. It's called common sense for one thing. Your basically sitting there with a sign that says "I'm with stupid" come take my vehicle...but let me repair it for you first. Either use the vehicle for what it was meant...destruction until the wheels fall off....call for repair...or drive your silly a$$ back to base to repair. I don't think so. I do self repairs all the time and I only had my vehicle stolen a few times. Mainly by team mates. That's why you either go to base to have someone else repair you or then you do self repairs in the field. By going around the vehicle while you repair will make it harder for anyone to get in unseen and ducking behind the safe side of the vehicle will make it harder for snipers to kill you while you repair (Yea, I know you can't do both at once). Also getting back in the vehicle if your taking fire is a good idea.
