Ummm...at no point was I stealing my teammate's vehicles. And it's not only practical to steal enemy vehicles, it's tactical too, as it reduces their vehicle limit total.

I was at full health when I spotted the empty Orca on City_Flying, and I didn't really feel like hoofing it back to base. It's not my fault whoever bought the thing didn't put it in a well-defended area.

On Walls_Flying, I was merely taking back what was ours to begin with. I didn't even really WANT the d4mned thing, I just was stealing it back for our team. Once I got back, I landed in front of the 'strip and announced anyone who repaired it could have it.

And if someone steals your mammoth, it's because you tried self repairs and deserved it.
