reasons 4 ppl who try to get N00bs to a betta skill lvl
1. when you help them its on the team status ur on therfore it goes out the window when they play otha team.2. they are too stupid or stubborn to accept a little help and dont listen. 3. when they die 1st time on tactic most will think its useless and 4get it. this is 4 ppl who cant be bothered setting an example and just like to get easy stats. 1. the basterds are too lazy too explain stuff to the N00Bs. 2. ppl want easy stats so they dont hlp the N00Bs 3. the person is a N00B if you wanna win a game help out the ppl who cant play it so that ur not left 2 do everythin and u get beaten.
(tip 4 tha N00Bs) in a game with under 10 ppl only get 1 snipa min 2 max
game wit 20 or more 2 snipers min 3 max, ur gonna h8 it when every1s snipa and ur the only mammoth vs 2-10 flamers+artillery
1 mo tip, snipas do lots on artillery but dont waste ur ammo on hvy armor 1 opinion
AIRCRAFT SUCK*** cause of lag, and snipas kill em easily

I don't teach newbies for one thing. I was never taught because the game is simple enough to play. A game like renegade you don't need people to tell you things, all you have to do is read a manual and practice by yourself before going into a mp game.

The simplest way to learn is to play. We should guide them through a little, or else they'll never learn and they'll always be a liability.
Disclaimer: The above only applies on non-laddered games. n00bs who wreck my ladder games shall receive a pineapple up their *ss.

Hmmm... Friends are good... Every server is filled with a team consisting of 100\% Rambo people... Get a friend on the phone, and get on the same team... The results are amazing... Nod buggy/stealth/nuke rush at $1400, and everyone is waiting for $1700... Sniper cover of a beacon... Hourglass works perfectly with this... One guy plants the nuke in plain sight and tries to guard it, and when he dies, the sniper takes over from the top of the map, boinking all those engies just standing there...

sad thing is alot and I mean alot of people don't read the manual(stupid s-h-i-t-s) because it's to long or something like that. And I don't have any sympathy for them

a lot of these new players should read something about this game. yesterday, while in our base, some noob on my team kept shooting me. so i say "what?" and he says "repair me" (he has about 1 bar left) so i tell him "go up to a purchase terminal and repair yourself". yikes, these are real basic concepts.

this is the 'nettiquette' definition of:
NOOB:
1. Says he's the best, god's gift, that sort of thing. [EDIT: Never accepts help either.]
2. He flames you when you kill him, calling you a '****ING NOOB! CHEATING HACKER!!!!!' [you get the idea].
3. Acts like a wanker.
4. Total lack of regard for temamates, often swiping veihicles a\nd as an engeneer refusing to repair teammates.
5. You get the general Idea.
6. They don't nessecarily have to be new to the game.Newbies:
1. New to the game.
2. Eager to learn-will pay attention to you.
3. Will accept that he/she is dying alot-he/she is new after all.
4. Will be [fairly] polite.
5. Genrally wants to help, and will try to assist you. [thoguh to be honest, don't rely on them...] this applies to every game and forum that's online. [ April 29, 2002: Message edited by: Loké ]
