In many games, I spend 3/4 of the game just being a hottie or Techie. Therefore, I have whatever cash the harvy brings, and what i make repairing. So, in the last 10 mins, I have the most money of all my teamates. So, then i buy free tanks for my team. I say: "Free med first one there its yours" or "FREE MRLS MY TREAT" etc,..Why does everybody only buy tanks for theirselves? I love buying tanks for my teamates! Is this a good strat or am i wasting my money?
Oh, and I often buy a PIC Sydney and just shoot tanks the whole game and then buy more tanks for my team. Good maps to use this strat: Mesa, Hourglass, Field, Under and City_Flying.
So, the question comes down to:
Should I buy tanks for my teamates, the time I do it most is when our Ref is gone and i have lots of repairing money. Should I save it for me, buy tanks for me, or buy tanks for team?? Thanks for the help, I just want to ask. If youve played with me every now and then, you should know what im talking about.. . . What do you guys think?

Of course it good to buy vehicles to your team.
BUT!
Make sure your teammates actually TAKE them. I was playing on Islands map today, we attacked the GDI base, got ref, but then they blew our tanks. Well, we found 3 (THREE!) empty med tanks from the enemy base, we took them and razed WF too.

Im a Hottie or Techie most of the game too... WHen i ac***ulate enough money i will buy vehicles for my team. Sometimes they take them and sometimes they dont. I normally try to get late game Stealth and flame rushes started like this when im on Nod. ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif)

I just enjoy buying tanks for ppl and repairing them. Besides, my team can use it better than I can. But, I never buy Orca's or Apache's or Mammy's, or Heli Transport. I find all aircraft are shot down far too quickly, and Mammy's deal as much points as they make.

I spend most of my games as a Hottie or a Tech too, but I sometimes grab a vehicle for myself...just because every little vehicle counts out there sometimes, especially on maps like Field. However, I'm not afraid to get destroyed either - simply because I can pop out and start repairing other tanks and vehicles.
I don't usually buy vehicles for people just because I don't want them to go unused or abused on the non-defense maps. If we're in desperate straits though, I'll probably do it just to get a rush going at the very end.

I use this strategy all the time. But I save all my credits until around the last 15 to 20 minutes and buy an armada for my team then we go rush. But i also have a limited amount of time online so i will spend all the credits i have on vehicles when i have to leave.

On Hourglass, I was a Sydney PIC half of the game, and when I finally died I had around 4500. So I bought 2 mammy's and 2 meds, and got my team to rush over the hill. We won by that rush ![[Smile]](smile.gif)
And I often buy tanks for my team before I leave a game, sort of a goodbye gift
